Every pitch has 3 segments.
  1. The part in which the ball comes from behind the pitcher through release point.
  2. The segment in which the ball is traveling more or less on a consistent path toward home plate.
  3. And finally, the late break in which the pitch sinks, slides, cuts, flutters, or otherwise catches the batter unaware (we hope).
